Before the Dawn

Before the Dawn is an original horror role playing game developed specifically for online use.

The game features an official Website, a free chat room, and a Yahoo Group where we play.

We are also now featured in Google Groups, and in Myspace Groups, as well as having a presense on Facebook.

The game takes place in our world, only a darker and more twisted version of it where vampires, angels, demons fae, shape-shifters and other supernatural creatures are real and fighting a war over the ultimate fate of mankind.

The game is slightly non-traditional with a few choices as to how your character can become a vampire.

You may either being born with one or two vampire parents, or being born a human and later on undergoing a process called conversion and becoming a vampire.

Vampires in this universe are defined by an energy deficiency that they must feed using Prana. Blood is but one way to do this. The other ways are to use the power of your mind, feed using the elements, feed from the soul, or to feed from dead flesh.

In addition to chosing your characters heritage you must chose their feeding method and their clan.

This will determine how your character looks at the world as well as how everyone else looks at you.

Human Characters may be unaware of the supernatural, slaves to  a vampire, or hunters of vampires. The chose is up to you.

The Fae and Shapeshifter sections of the game are still somewhat underdevelopment, but plans to include banshee, dark faery lovers, sirens and nymphs are in the works.

We feature a Training Camp to help you get started. The Training camp is featured as a website/forum that is open twenty-four hours a day for questions.

You can leave messages even if no one is in the room and someone will get back with you as soon as possible. Just remember to leave an email address.

The only thing necessary to play is a decent command of the English language, and a willingness to learn the system.
